Livigno is a sunny valley that offers you 150 kmq of backcountry territories, reachable only and exclusively with your own legs. Thanks to its 1816m of
altitude, it offers one of the longest ski seasons of the year. In Livigno, ski mountaineering is practicable, for the most experienced and adventurous
already from the first snowfall, as early as mid-November!
The trails listed below are all managed trails that can be travelled independently, with the obligation to use the self-rescue kit, this means the backpack with beacon, shovel and probe. These managed trails have the advantage of being marked with blue and orange poles positioned all along the entire trail, they are well-marked after each new snowfall, and are constantly monitored by our experts to allow you to enjoy the best experience.
We remind you that since the ski lifts and slopes are closed, it is forbidden to go down the groomed slopes both during the day and at night. Is mandatory
to use the backpack with artva shovel and probe, since you descend in fresh snow.
