LIVIGNO PRESENTS ITS CULINARY TRADITIONS

Saturday 22nd November will be presented the book "Leina da saor - An avalanche of tastes." A collection of traditional recipes revisited by the Group of Chefs and Confectioners of Livigno.

It will be an avalanche of tastes the one that will overwhelm the palate of enthusiasts of Livigno, which also enjoy the traditional cuisine.

 

Saturday, 22nd November , starting from 20:30 will take place at Plaza Placheda, the evening presentation of the book dedicated to the traditional cooking of Livigno, edited by the Group of Chefs and Confectioners of Livigno.

"Leina da saor - An avalanche of tastes" contains 100 recipes of the past, revisited and illustrated with 250 photographs.

An ambitious project with an original idea: to make known throughout the Europe the habits of a particular cooking, and this project shouldn't be seen as a mere passing of the torch, instead it is an invitation to all, especially to the younger generation, but also to many fans of Livigno, in order to feel protagonists of tradition.

During the evening, 4 tasty stations will be set up, where it will be possible taste for free, different dishes, from appetizers to the first, second courses and desserts.

Saturday, 22nd November

20:30 the evening will start with the presentation of the working groups and round table with photographers, editors, the President of Group Chefs and Confectioners of Livigno, Manuele Mambretti, directors Giorgio Mondadori and Cairo Editore.

21:00 finger food tasting of some of the dishes featured in the book, between tradition and innovation. Musical entertainment with the Gruppo Folk "Bei Matei".

For children there will be games and entertainment, organized by Ci.A.Gi Livigno.
