What security measures are taken in Livigno?
In Livigno we scrupulously follow the directives defined by the Council of Ministers and the Lombardy Region, which can be summarized in these points:
> MASK: It is always mandatory to wear a mask, or any other garment to protect the nose and mouth, when you are outside your home/hotel. The mask is mandatory for children from six years of age. For those who perform intense sport activity, the use of a mask or other individual protection during intense physical activity is not mandatory. The use of individual protections at the end of physical activity and the obligation to maintain social distance remains mandatory.
> INTERPERSONAL DISTANCE In public and closed places, a distance of at least one meter between people must be maintained and the mask must always be worn. Assemblies must be avoided. To facilitate the maintenance of distances, the various structures are equipped with signs and informative materials.
> HAND HYGIENE AND/OR GLOVES: It is recommended to wash your hands frequently and to carry a hand disinfectant with you, and to use the disinfectants and/or disposable gloves provided at the entrance and exit of the shops, hotels and restaurants.
> TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT: in all shops, accommodation and restaurants there is an obligation to measure the temperature of the employees. At the entrance of the restaurants, the temperature will also be measured to the customers.
Can I reach Livigno?
Yes, from 18 May 2020, as defined by the decree of the Council of Ministers, it is possible to travel to Livigno for those coming from Lombardy region. While those living in other Italian regions, or those living abroad, will have to wait till June 3rd 2020 to be able to visit Livigno.
Can I book an accommodation in Livigno?
Yes, it is possible to make a reservation. Several hotels, apartments and campsites are already open since May 18th, others will open in the coming weeks. Find the perfect accommodation for your holiday by consulting our booking area www.livigno.eu, and book without commissions.
Are shops, restaurants and mtb rentals open?
Since 18th May 2020, all shops, restaurants, mtb rentals capable of guaranteeing the necessary safety measures can open to the public.

What can I do in Livigno during this period?
There are many activities you can practice in Livigno, in large spaces surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Walks and trekking of various levels, mountain bike excursions, a ride on the 17km long cycle and pedestrian track with a delicious break at the Livigno dairy. And then a run on the athletics track or Beach Tennis at Aquagranda Active You, or high altitude training from 1816 to 3000 meters a.s.l.
Or what about a Duty Free Shopping in the shops of the town, a golf game, or a walk along the special "Art Trail"

Is it possible to cancel my trip?

What roads are open to reach Livigno?
> Foscagno Pass: At the moment you can reach Livigno passing by the Foscagno Pass, therefore remaining within the Lombardy region.
> Passo del Gallo / Tunnel: The Passo del Gallo / Tunnel Munt La Schera is open, but there are restrictions on Swiss territory, the passage is therefore allowed only for trips made for professional, health or other mandatory reasons. Travellers must have self-certification. Attention! Starting from June 1st, the Munt La Schera tunnel will be closed EVERY DAY, from 20:00 until 05:00, until further notice. > Passo Forcola: Passo Forcola is currently closed, Switzerland has not yet announced an opening date.
Are there any restrictions?
Throughout the Lombardy region, you can move freely without self-certification; for the time being, it is only possible to move beyond the borders of the region for urgent work and health reasons. From 3rd June it will be possible to move between Italian regions without self-certification.
