VIDEO SUMMER LIVIGNO & BRUMOTTI AMBASSADOR

Sports and nature are the topic of the new video, produced by APT Livigno in collaboration with Visual Working, now online on the official social medias of the Valtellina's resort. In addition, the "Small Tibet" announces its collaboration with Vittorio Brumotti as ambassador for mountain biking.

Sports and nature are the dominant topics of the new video "A Summer Day - Livigno”, produced by the Tourist Board APT Livigno, which presents the summer 2015.
"A Summer Day - Livigno” is action, adrenaline, emotions, experiences to be lived in the mountains. It shows a Livigno that reflects in the waters of the lake for water sports, climbs on the trails by foot or by mtb, goes up till the mountain huts where you can taste local products and learn about life on alpine pastures, launches itself between parabolic and boardwalks of the bike-park where the downhill mtb is the king, follows the flow-country trails suitable for everyone, sneaks into the shopping streets of highest duty-free area in Europe, welcomes kids with specific proposals thanks to the Family Weeks created for families.
In the "Summer" publishing day, the resort announces its collaboration with the trial biker Vittorio Brumotti as ambassador for the Livigno's summer on two wheels with the aim of promoting the tracks, structures and initiatives of the resort, related to the world of mountain bike, of which is increasingly a leader in Europe.

"Our summer season - said Luca Moretti, President of Tourist Board APT Livigno - has a special charm thanks to the fact that we are at 1816 meters, but at the same time we are a high plateau where the high altitude effect is less evident to the naked eye, just as in Tibet. In recent years the training at high altitude led to Livigno many champions and athletes, including Contador and the Team Tinkoff-Saxo. Today we chose Vittorio Brumotti to make more effective our promotion of MTB holidays, which grew exponentially both into the Italian and international market. I am convinced that Brumotti, with his communicative streak and his winsome image, will be a great ambassador for our town."

"I think that today, the real treasure at our disposal - said Vittorio Brumotti - is to spend time practicing outdoor activities. In that sense, Livigno is one of the three perfect places in the world for mountain-biking, along with Whistler Mountain in Canada and Moah in Utah (USA). I come to Livigno even to enhance my training, given that the 1800 meters allow to carry out a complete workout at high altitude."

Livigno is a giant alpine open sky gym at 1816 mt, a cosmopolitan town loved by international guests, a place where cultures, languages ​​and customs from all around the world meet, from Northern Europe to South Africa, from the USA to Eastern Europe, in search of that magical "je ne sais quoi" that only the Little Tibet offers. Livigno is an island, that instead of the sea, is surrounded by the peaks of the 3000mt mountains of Valtellina and Switzerland, and by the gentle green slopes of the plateau on which it sits.
If with the snow Livigno is the capital of winter sports, in summer it becomes the mecca for all the sports that can be practiced under the hot sun Livigno, which is the also the symbol of the town. Mountain biking, hiking, racing bike, climbing, fishing, golf, canoeing, windsurfing, sup, swimming, horseback riding, in-line skating, paragliding, trail running, proposals for children and families, there is something for everyone. In Livigno is difficult to stand still, is a place that inspires movement and desire for freedom, from the smallest to the biggest, from professional athletes to amateurs.
