Sunday 24th OF July the 3K UP&DOWN, a Carosello3000, Crankbrothers, Rose Bikes and Ethen event, is comign back on the new flow country trails of Carosello 3000: 2 pro riders, 150 participants, 1 lift, a trail of 10km and 7 hours. The challenge is to ride on the trail as many times as possibible, going back up with the cable car. Pro of the 2016 edition are the Lupato brothers, among the best enduro riders in Europe: they will share their passion with the participants on the trail. Try to catch them!
After the success of the 2015 edition, sold out, 3KUP&DOWN is coming back on a new route, from the top of Carosello3000: 10 km and 1000 m vertical drop in the Mountain Park Carosello3000. Starting from San Rocco, going to Coast to Coast, H-Dream (Hutr), the very new Blueberry Line and again.
In the incredible scenery of Carosello 3000, over Livigno lake, the riders will enjoy the new flow trail, fast for experts and safe for beginners, with berms and bumps. A new concept of trails created for every kind of bike and bikers.
3K UP&DOWN is not a race: every rider will arrive first in his own category. Every rider will win. The challenge is to have the “perfect bike fun”: no matter if you want to ride fast, try to catch the Lupato brothers, beat your friends or have a beer.
A new feature of the 2016 edition will be the possibility to use the app mobile my3000 which you can download for free from Apple Store and Google Play.
Thanks to the GPS tracking tools, the app my3000 is able to record distance, speed and vertical drop while riding a mountain bike, but is also a useful tool with which you can view real-time information (such as weather and webcam), check the map of Mountain Park and contact your aid in case of need by sending your GPS coordinates. The app also contains real contests, such as the Dragon Challenge, which rewards whoever has traveled the longest distance every Sunday.
But the participants of the 3K Up&Down will also have the possibility to participate at a digital contest dedicated to them: "3K Top Speed" the app will generate a special classification based on the speed reached by the participants and the winners will be rewarded with prizes from sponsors and the pass for the Mountain Park Carousel 3000.
