And for cycling fans in July and August are scheduled some "Tinkoff Spot Academy" training weeks.

The big news of the year concerning the two wheels on the road is the Tinkoff-Saxo Team. The location and the Russian team of Oleg Tinkov have signed a collaboration agreement, which provides for the presence in the Little Tibet of athletes and technical team in preparation for the great classics such as the Giro d’Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.

The Russian Team Tinkoff-Saxo represents the élite of international cycling. In 2014 he got 26 victories among which that of Alberto Contador at the Vuelta and of Rafal Majka wich won two stages at the Tour de France. As well as biking over Livigno roads and on the several alpine passes like Stelvio, Foscagno, Forcola, Gavia, Mortirolo, the cyclists will train at the Livigno Fitness Sports Centre.

“With this collaboration agreement - says Luca Moretti, president of Apt Livigno – we made official what many athletes already know about Livigno: it is the top of Europe for what concerns the altitude training. The Tinkoff-Saxo Team is the élite of cycling and the fact that they have chosen Livigno flatters us.”

Livigno was an easy choice for us - comments Stefano Feltrin, general manager of Tinkoff-Saxo Team - We believe that there are no better places in Europe for altitude training which also provide infrastructure and sports facilities of the highest level.
