LIVIGNO: THE FOUR ACTIVITIES TO END THE WINTER SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE

Another fantastic winter season is coming to an end in Livigno, which once again this year welcomed on its more than115 km of slopes numerous enthusiasts from all over the world, who tried their favourite winter sports and took part inseveral exciting events, including the recent sixth edition of the Sunrise Mattias.

To end the 2022-2023 winter in style, the top resort in the Valtellina region is therefore proposing some appointments and promotions not to be missed to fully enjoy the latest winter vibes in contact with soft snow.
First of all, the Snowland Festival, which will be held on 22, 23 and 24 April at Passo d'Eira. During the Festival, internationally renowned artists and DJs will perform at 2208 metres above sea level, on the edge of the skislopes, singing and playing amidst spectacular sunsets and exclusive panoramas. The energy of the mountains, the vibrations of music and a large community ready to have fun will merge andamplify to create a unique musical event in Italy. There will also be no shortage of after parties that will allow dancing until late into the night in Europe's coolest Italian ski resort. The line-up for the three days of the Festival is truly astonishing: on the first day Fabri Fibra, Hugel, Merk & Kremont,D-Nill, Frank Van Janek, Mazay and Przi will perform; on the second day Sven Väth, Andrea Oliva, Leon and Massimo Logli will make the audience dance non-stop; other important names from the Italian and international music scene willclose the Festival: Steve Aoki, Il Pagante, Mattn, Alexander Rya, Edmmaro and In-Style.

If, on the other hand, you want to take advantage of the latest snowfall to have fun once again on the slopes of the Livigno ski resorts, Piccolo Tibet offers the Skipass Free promotion, active from 15 April to 1 May 2023, which allows allthose who stay in hotels or flats with a special agreement (for at least 4 or 7 nights, up to a maximum of 14 nights) toget a free ski pass. Another activity for the last days of winter is paragliding over the Alpine peaks. Suitable for the most daring whowant to live an unforgettable experience and have a privileged view over the valley of Livigno tinged with white,every day at Carosello 3000 it is possible to soar through the skies of Little Tibet and admire all the beauty of theresort from above, accompanied by the expert pilots of Feel The Sky Paragliding. All that remains is to enjoy theflight and, once back home, relive the emotion with your loved ones thanks to the video delivered at the end ofthe experience.

Finally, to round off the winter season in the best possible way, it is impossible to say no to the last bombardino, asymbolic drink of the Italian mountains. The bombardino was born in Livigno from the idea of a young man from Genoawho, in the 1970s, created this boiling drink made of milk, whisky and zabaglione to combat the freezing temperaturesin the mountains. It is said that the first lucky taster exclaimed 'Damn! It's a bombard!", thus giving the drink its officialname. Once an adrenaline-fuelled skiing session is over, then, there's nothing better than stopping to savour a greatbombard and enjoy the wonder of the snowy landscape before saying goodbye to winter once again.
