This morning at Plaza Placheda took place a workshop about marketing strategies in the tourism sector and about the importance of online solutions
During the last day of Livigno Expo - the trade fair related to hotel industry, catering and tourism- took place the workshop ‘Google for Travel’ that aimed to provide an overview of the solutions in the tourist market offered by the famous search engine
The speakers were the Product Trainer Google Italy Maria Elena Ferrario, the Agency Team Leader Google Marcia Volpe, the Account Strategist Google Federica Eusebio, the general manager of Alea Christian Fiorot and Claudia Pastori, the Web Marketing Specialist Alea, a Google Partner Agency.
The workshop focused on the importance of the mobile channels and the tools provided by Google to intercept the tourists starting from the moment they acquire on-line information until the purchase. During the workshop were presented statistical and research data and it was also announced that Livigno is going to be mentioned in the upcoming initiatives of Google as example of successful web marketing campaign. The workshop concluded with a one to one session during which the operators could ask targeted questions to the experts of Google Italy.
Among the many activities organized by Apt Livigno to develop the own marketing strategy and the online promotion there is a new Mobile App with tourism daily news, a member access portal and the update of the official website www.livigno.eu
