Livigno is a paradise for all trekking lovers: over 1,500 km of trails immersed in the unspoilt nature of the Italian Alps, to be discovered step by step.

Livigno offers 1,500km of trails to be discovered and walked in the unspoilt nature of the Italian Alps.
With each step, you will feel more and more in harmony with the beauty of the mountain and its panoramas. The trails wind their way through the lush forests that embrace Livigno, where hikers can breathe in the clean air, but also invigorate their physique and in the meantime regenerate their souls: a true paradise for all trekking enthusiasts. The extensive trail network touches 3,000 metres in height and the routes are easily accessible on foot, but also by cable car. The MyLivigno app is a tool for nature lovers and explorers: here hikers can find all the information about the trails, routes and rentals, but also find out about all the activities on offer. For each path and route it is possible to read an accurate description, check the altimetry and access the gpx tracks, in order to better organise each excursion on foot, or possibly also by bike. Livigno is an ideal destination for everyone, from professionals to amateurs, who want to go trekking and want to spend a day in the midst of nature.

FAMILY EXCURSIONS
The mountains are for everyone, and in fact Livigno has no shortage of opportunities for excursions suitable for young and old: there are various possibilities for families who want to reach mountain huts, meadows equipped with picnic areas and where they can play freely. The Val Nera Waterfalls are ideal for those who want a suggestive view, while the Tee Tour allows you to enjoy wide panoramic views between stops at the tees (typical wooden huts). Finally, the Crap de la Parè, thanks to an ancient path marked by the Stations of the Cross, overlooks the southern area of Livigno.

BAITÈL
The baitèl are small renovated huts, cared for by the community, five small jewels of Livigno tradition, located on the edge of the forest, which must be maintained with care. They can be used as resting places, both day and night, or can offer shelter to walkers in case of bad weather. Inside there is a small wood-burning kitchen, a table and places to sleep: a place to feel at home, but always surrounded by the beauty of nature.

ALPINE LAKES
Not only are Alpine lakes a real resource for mountain villages - they conserve local water reserves - but they also have wonderful colours that immediately catch the eye of hikers. Lago del Vago is characterised by a turquoise colour, which owes its particular colouring to copper phosphate, and is easily reached by a one-and-a-half-hour walk. Lago del Monte, one of the largest lakes in Livigno, is surrounded by wide meadows where a baitèl is also available, to rest and enjoy the view after the hike.
