LIVIGNO AND ACQUA FRISIA: THE NEW PLASTIC-FREE PARTNERSHIP THAT RESPECTS THE TERRITORY

With many points in common, the two companies sign a collaboration agreement with a single mission: to join forces to enhance the territory by eliminating plastic and its impact on the environment.

“Little Tibet” announces its partnership with Acqua FRISIA, a historic Italian brand of low-mineral water that is born microbiologically pure in the heart of the Alps of Valchiavenna. It is a partnership in the name of eco-sustainability that stems from the common interest to preserve the uniqueness of the territory, through a PLASTIC FREE project that protects health, environment and preserves the planet.

Acqua FRISIA is the alpine water of Valtellina, a brand from Lombardy that has brought the concept of quality water, in glass, into Italian homes. This year FRISIA brand is 60 years old, but it is back on the market with a new philosophy projected towards the future. A project that anticipates the needs of the market, based on sustainable production, 100% recyclable packaging, aluminum caps, FSC certified paper labels, cardboard for distribution and the abolition of plastic, giving preference to disposable glass bottles: a choice that allows the best preservation of the characteristics of water and protect the environment, thanks to the use of a completely recyclable material. It is therefore a young, innovative and sustainable project that wants to bring on the market an authentic Made in Italy product that looks to the future.

The collaboration comes from a sharing of values that focuses on sustainability, health and sport but also love for the mountains and respect for nature and the territory.

Several athletes, spokesmen of excellence in the world of sport, have been chosen by both Livigno and Acqua Frisia as testimonials of their values. Among these stands out the name of Elena Curtoni, Italian champion of alpine skiing, athlete chosen by Acqua FRISIA to promote physical well-being, thanks to sport and healthy hydration.

The sporting vocation, the avant-garde spirit, linked to love and respect for the environment make this partnership rich in meaning: Livigno is in fact known to be a sports hub of great interest, which allows amateurs and professionals to train in the midst of nature. The ideal landscape, combined with great attention to detail, over the years has made Livigno one of the favorite destinations not only of fans, but also of professional athletes, allowing the resort to reach the goal of the Olympics Milan Cortina 2026.

The Olympics that Livigno will host, will be the first "green" in history, in which the event will be adapted to the territory, allowing to look to the future with sustainable investments in terms of social, economic and environmental impact with maximum respect for nature that surrounds us. Acqua FRISIA will be at Livigno's side in this journey of shared ideals towards 2026.

Making the partnership even more significant is the green direction in which the resort, for several years now, has been moving, arriving in 2019 at the "Livigno Plastic Free", a direction in which it will continue to move in support of the environment and to preserve its fantastic natural setting.

Brilliantly FRISIA

#ritornoalfuturo (back to the future) FRISIA water, a modern vision projected into the future, a new philosophy with a great commitment to sustainable production in terms of social, economic and environmental impact. #undonodellanatura (a gift of nature) FRISIA water, alpine water, pure, healthy, light.
