FROM LIVIGNO TO RIO: THE LITTLE TIBET HOSTS THE ITALIAN NATIONAL SWIMMING TEAM

Federica Pellegrini, Filippo Magnini, Gregorio Paltrinieri  and the Italian team will train at Aquagranda Livigno in preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio. The training camp of Italian Swim Federation takes place from September 30 to October 18. The press conference "From Livigno to Rio" with  athletes  and trainers is scheduled on October 2 .

The Italian National Swimming Team is gathering in LIVIGNO from 30 September to 18 October 2015. The athletes will train in the 25-meter pool of the Aquagranda Sport Fitness Centre, the sports centre at an altitude of 1,816 meters which attracts the attention of many athletes for altitude stages. In this occasion is going to be held a press conference also to present the training program, which starts with the training camp in Livigno, in preparation for the Olympic Games.

The press conference, scheduled on Friday, October 2 at 11:30 at Aquagranda Sports Fitness Centre, will be attended by Federica Pellegrini, Filippo Magnini, Gregorio Paltrinieri and the medalists of the last World Championships in Kazan, together with the trainer Cesare Butini and the other federal trainers Matteo Giunta, Stefano Morini and Stefano Franceschi. Livigno will be represented by Mayor Damiano Bormolini and the president of the Tourist Board, Luca Moretti.

Aquagranda is a facility that offers the athletes the best preparation at altitude. - said Luca Moretti, President of APT Livigno – The presence of high level athletes such as Federica Pellegrini is not only a source of pride, but it also proves that Livigno has become a technical reference point for sports federations and sports clubs.
