Next December (on 1st and 2nd December) the edition number 29 of "La Sgambeda" will offer a good start for the season of all cross-country skiers, from amateurs to the champions of Visma Ski Classics. In Livigno (ITA) the snow arrives earlier and the altitude makes it possible to train perfectly in any type of discipline. That’s why the resort is a popular destination for all sportsmen. The Expo Area will animate the event on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th November. The Pro Teams for the "Prologue" Visma Ski Classics of 15 km in classic technique (7.5 km to be covered twice) is scheduled for Friday 30th November at the Cross-country Stadium of Livigno.
The next day will be entirely dedicated to amateurs: a super latest development with "La Sgambeda" 30 km only for amateurs, on a single ring in free technique.
A return desired by many competitors who have long dreamed of a race dedicated entirely to them among the many emotions that only this cross-country competition can give.
The committee could not fail to respond to the many requests, and now "La Sgambeda" 2018 will be all for them: "And we are sure it is worth it," said the O.C.
The snowy slopes will then see the champions Visma Ski Classics compete on Sunday, December 2nd, this time in classic technique and always at the Cross Country Stadium with 6 km to be covered five times. In a few days, entries will open and it will be good to hurry, the race package is reserved only for the first 1000 members. Thanks to the "snowfarm" technique for the preservation of snow, it will be possible to train on a ring in the central plain as early as mid-October, and the first to take advantage of this will be the protagonists of the “Trofeo delle Contrade” on 24th August, a perfect call to restart the winter season ...
