The very first Golfando event opens up the greens in Livigno on 1st September: a unique experience which brings together golfers from all over Italy with a programme of tournaments, competitions and fun in the beautiful landscapes of Livigno and Bormio.
The heart of the Alps is devoting an entire day to golfers alone, who can be have fun with clubs and balls, amongst a range of different activities. The first Golfando event, to be held on 1st September, will begin in great style as of early morning with the Erregi - Livigno Trophy for a SHOT GUN start in Bormio, where an 18-hole competition will be held. For lunch, tournament participants will be able to relax with a wine-tasting session to prepare for the awards ceremony of the trophy winner.
The event provides for an afternoon transfer to Livigno to kick off the competition at the Golf Training Area in Livigno where those participants registered for the event will have the opportunity to try out the highest Driving Range in Europe free of charge and compete on the Pitch&Putt field.
To finishe the day with a bang, golfers will be able to enjoy an aperitif at the Aquagranda - Active You centre, followed by a Gala Dinner accompanied by some elegant live music, during which the winners both of the day and the August Livigno Cup will also be announced.
Little Tibet is the ideal place for exploring nature and enjoying unmistakeable landscapes: large green expanses surrounded by the mountains of the valley for those who enjoy ‘soft’ activities. The Golf Training Area which will host the event enables both expert golfers and beginners to train and practice golf, becoming familiar with clubs and balls.
Thanks to the spacious 10,000m2 area, the Golf Training Area lends itself perfectly to competitions and training sessions alike. Consisting of a pitch and putt area, a 250m driving range and three greens of varying difficulties, each one can be reached from three different starting tees and gives players the opportunity to build up their skills during training.
Special packages for the competitions and overnight stays have been put together on occasion of the event, both in Bormio and Livigno.
