LIVIGNO BEST FREERIDE LOCATION IN ITALY

At the fair “Skipass Modena” Livigno has been awarded with a special prize that highlights Livigno as Italian best freeride resort. Awards also went to events, skiers and facilities of the Little Tibet.

Many prizes rained down on Livigno during the fair “Skipass Modena”! At the “Oscar” ceremony the Little Tibet was awarded with the prestigious title "Best Freeride Resort",  confirming the activities carried out over the past winter seasons such as the Freeride Project and the European Freeride Festival. During the Palme d'Or for Italian Freeriding went many awards also to  events, skiers and facilities of our resort: Bruno Mottini won the title of "Best Male Freerider" and "Best Male Skier", Yuri Silvestri "Best Male Freeskier" and "Best Male Performance", La Skieda was awarded with "Best Freeride Event", the ski area Mottolino won for the categories "Best Beginners Park", "Best Special Obstacle”, " Best Event in Italy "with the Suzuki Nine Knights and " Best Marketing ".

"These awards - said Luca Moretti, president of Apt Livigno – gave us the right boost to face the season that is just around the corner. Freeride represents an important segment of our business and we are going to work even harder to offer better services to skiers who choose Livigno ".

Skipass Modena was also a chance to present the Mottolino Freestyle #theTeam, a of four young athletes from Livigno who love the Park and freestyling. Ema Galli, Yuri Silvestri, Ian Rocca, and Tobia Silvestri are following an athletic training program in preparation for the next season. For their indoor training there are  water jump and days on the glacier awaiting for the Park’s opening and the competitions.
