It's still one month away, but in Livigno you can already feel the Christmas atmosphere. The dominant color is white and the snow continues to fall softly. Last weekend some slopes at Carosello 3000 have been opened earlier, while waiting the official opening of the winter season set for the 1st December. Regarding crosscountry skiing, 25 km of groomed track are open since middle october.
During the first weekend of skiing, with free access to the lifts, there were about a thousand enthusiasts, skiing on the slopes of "Bellavista", "Cunabella", "Buglin" and "Le Zete", for a total altitude of 800 meters.From today, the access to the lifts "Livigno Centro" - "Tagliede" - "Costaccia" and "Vetta" will be guaranteed by a special ski pass from the value of 15,00 euros. Then starting from the 1st December, with official opening of the season, the "Skipass free" promotion will be valid.
While waiting for Christmas and New Year's holidays on the snow, you can choose some of these proposals to celebrate the New Year, traditionally greeted with the torch parade on skis performed by the ski instructors, accompanied by delicious mulled wine, and the exchange of greetings before the feast.

The cost of the evening is € 90.00 per person with buffet dinner and € 50.00 per person without dinner, but with one bottle per two people. Dress code: 80's Christmas holidays.

At the après ski Stalet, Carosello 3000 organizes for some years the biggest and most famous New Year’s party of the entire Mountain Resort. During the recent editions, the party have seen the presence of more than 1000 people, gathered to celebrate together the arrival of the New Year.
The party will take place from 9.30 pm at the covered and heated terrace of the après ski Stalet. It is a free entrance party, open to all, and it includes music, midnight toast by the bonfire, DJ sets and fun until late at night. A free shuttle service will be available (only in Livigno) to bring you directly to the entrance (book the taxi in advance, calling +39.0342.196.00.00).
For the dinner you can choose between the restaurant (Gold Solution) and the heated tent (Silver Solution) that will host the party (by booking by 30/11 you will have a 10% discount on the price list). The Gold Solution costs € 140.00 per person (children from 5 to 10 years, € 50.00), while Silver costs € 100.00 per table (4 seats) with a buffet dinner.
