Livigno also took the podium in categories: guaranteed snow, prepared tracks, hospitality, après ski, entertainment, atmosphere, comfort and relaxation, fun and snowboards.
The prize, awarded yesterday afternoon and withdrawn by the CEO of Apt Livigno Luca Moretti, is the result of a survey carried out in collaboration with the University of Innsbruck between 50 thousand guests in 54 ski resorts in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany.
To decide the Best Ski Resort 2016 were realized 48,788 interviews (with an average of 1,000 per location) in the period between December 2015 and April 2016.
The focus of the questions concerned the area, quality slopes, guaranteed snow, the quality of the lifts, safety on the slopes, hotels, entertainment and leisure, fun and snowboards, gastronomy, ski schools, natural environment, relaxation, après- ski, friendliness and kindness, ski rentals, children's offers, authenticity, exclusivity, welcoming atmosphere and wellness offer.
"The satisfaction of this international recognition - says Luca Moretti - comes from the fact that, thanks to the work done, the positioning strategies on markets, promotion and communication, we have overcome, in many categories, places that we consider sacred monsters, who often we watched as an example. This means that the direction taken is the right one and that allows us to compete with highly prestigious ski resort. We leave Bregenz with more certainties and from there we continue our work to be more competitive and further improve the services we offer to our guests."

The countdown to the official opening of the ski slopes has now begun. This weekend’s snowfall turned everything white, extending the cross country ring,which opened in mid-October. The season kicks off with Skipass Free offer, also valid for the 8th December holiday break of the Immaculate Conception.
