WOOD'N'ART – 3RD EDITION

After the huge success of the success of past years returns in Livigno the 3^rd edition of Wood'n'Art, an exhibition dedicated to sculpture and followed by artistic director Vania Cusini.

From 8 to 12 July, five artists will be engaged to carry out an open-air sculpture  carved from a trunk of a larch tree.

New this year is that Wood'n'Art will be part of an event that involves the whole area called: Rin da Rin, the Art Way.

The participating artists are Dino Damiani (Novara), Gino Taraboi (Trento), Stefano Vitali (Bergamo), Renato Scarafoni (Sondrio) and Maurilio Donati (Sondrio).

The audience will witness the birth of the sculptures from the early stages of carving and sketch: initial evolution, following their constantly changing, until the last wood shaving unveiling the finished product.

The winning sculptures of WOOD'N'ART will be proclaimed Sunday, July 12 with the Jury Prize and the Audience Award c.o. the Art Garden in Via Vinecc 390.

The works will remain on display throughout the summer, creating a real outdoor museum.
