POSTPONED TO TOMORROW THE RACE FREERIDE WORLD QUALIFIER 4* WTF

The Freeride World Qualifier 4 * WTF race scheduled this morning, has been moved to tomorrow. The decision was taken at 10.15 after several departure postponements due to the snowfall of this night and the wind at high altitude.

Thanks to the powder snow, the athletes today are trying new descents on Carosello 3000 slopes waiting for tomorrow's race.

In the afternoon is scheduled the European Freeride Forum, which will be about safety in the mountains. Among other participations, it is expected the one of the National Responsible of Mountain Safety Service of the State Forestry Corps, PhD Vincenzo Romeo.

The State Forestry Corps participates in the Freeride Festival of Livigno with the helicopter rescue staff and the specialized one of Meteomont which will help the Livigno's Avalanche office in monitoring the forecasts, the snowpack stability and the issue of the local Avalanche bulletin (at 17.30 in Plaza Placheda Livigno).

Tomorrow's race is scheduled at 9:00.
