Even if the snow is more than enough for skiing and having fun (right now many are the snow fans in the Italian Little Tibet), some off-piste courses are considered not perfect by the alpine guides and the organizers of the European Freeride Festival - 14/17 January 2016.
The weather condition
“If safety is our first priority – said Alberto Marazzi, spokesman of the European Freeride Festival – the fun, the challenge and the mountain culture come immediately after. Despite the copious snowfalls of the last days, the weather don't allow us to reach these aims therefore, with great regret, we prefer to postpone the initiative to the next season ".
Possible activities
For those who are already enrolled in the Freeride Fest and will be in Livigno, there is the chance to define with the mountain guides some feasible courses (over 90% of the slopes with perfect snow condition is still accessible); Also the Video Contest with Black Diamond and Epic TV takes anyway place, you just have to follow these simple rules: Create a video between 45" and 3 minutes dedicated and shot in Livigno by one / three makers. The main features of the video have to be winter sports, resort and entertainment in Livigno.
