Livigno and The Owl Post: Stories, memories and dreams to enjoy the journey towards the 2026 Olympics

An hotel room, a larch desk and a window without curtains, which opens up a view of the snow-capped peaks or the green woods that surround the town. At the desk sits one of the many sports champions that Livigno hosts and supports, in front of him a page of a diary in which to write freely. Thanks to The Owl Post, the home of sports storytelling, the stories, memories and dreams of the greatest Italian and non-Italian sportsmen, will accompany us on the journey that will lead to the gates of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics. A real 360-degree journey into sports narrative, done with ink tip, to go deep into the lives of those champions who, throughout the year, choose Livigno for their high-altitude training.

A fixed appointment, which thanks to the unfiltered pen of athletes, legends and prominent personalities of the Livigno sport will allow you to discover new nuances of their history, giving you a privileged observation point to enjoy the approach path to the great appointment of the Olympic Games. Talents born in the shadow of the Valtellina mountains but also expert athletes who, thanks to the extraordinary uniqueness of our valley, have chosen Livigno as the ideal place to rock their Olympic dreams. Both in winter and in summer, because in Livigno, sport is lived 365 days a year.

Jacopo Pozzi, founder of The Owl Post declared: “The collaboration between The Owl Post and Livigno stems from the desire to build a quality storytelling, not only purely sporting, but which takes into account the extraordinary cultural and value value of this valley. Almost a manifesto, written in episodes, thanks to the will of the protagonists to tell about themselves by going beyond the traditional sports narrative, digging deeper. Sport is never just sport, and this is our way of supporting Livigno in building a magnificent cultural heritage."

Our journey starts from the words of Michela Moioli, athlete of the Italian Winter Sports Federation belonging to the Army Sports Center, the first Italian in history to graduate Olympic champion in snowboard cross and protagonist of the first story: "I find out that I like to tell myself for the person I am, because at in the end we are human beings, before athletes, and it is our passions and fears that really bring us closer to people. I already imagine how the Olympics in Livigno will be. In my opinion, on a visual level it will not change very much, in the sense that great events will no longer take place as they did before, which disfigured everything, built huge buildings, deforested. It will be very different, it will be much more close to nature and man ".

In conclusion, it is the thought of Luca Moretti, president of APT Livigno, that summarizes the reasons for this new collaboration: "The work we will do in the coming years together with The Owl Post aims to tell the story of sport full relief, exactly how we live it here in Livigno. We want to thrill our readers through the stories, not only those of our athletes but also those of the people who, thanks to Livigno and training at high altitude, have been able to write an important page in their sports career ".

A start full of emotion for a journey that will lead us to the discovery of unforgettable stories.
