A WHOLE WEEK DEDICATED TO SPORTING EXCELLENCE GETS UNDERWAY: THE OLYMPIC WEEK IN LIVIGNO

Livigno is opening its doors to visitors from 30th March to 5th April to celebrate its official candidature for the Milan-Cortina 2026 winter Olympic Games, for a week packed with events in the company of Italian champions and Team Livigno.

A week organised in the name of sporting excellence is how Olympic Week presents itself. This 7-day event is dedicated to all winter sports enthusiasts and a range of activities ranging from skiing with Olympic champions to exclusive parties has been organised, enabling visitors to enjoy the Olympic spirit to the full throughout Livigno.

Members will be given a bracelet which valid for one week from Saturday, 30th March to Friday, 5th April. Said bracelet will give them access to all the discounts and events on offer during the week. The most important promotion will be one-day free. When booking for a week in an affiliate hotel, one night will be free; there will be one free day on a six-day equipment hire; a 10% discount on a 6-day ski pass and a 10% discount on the hourly rate for ski lessons at schools adhering to the initiative.

To enjoy the Olympic spirit, on Sunday, 31st March, participants to Olympic Week will be able to ski with the Italian National Team of Livigno, Team Livigno and former athletes from the Italian National Alpine Ski Team, for a descent in style on the fantastic slopes of Livigno. During the afternoon, and in order to relax after skiing, there will be the Olympic Week Aperitif in the Wellness&Relax Area of Aquagranda Active You!. In addition to a 50% discount on admission and a welcome drink, live music will provide a special atmosphere to accompany visitors in a ritual Olympic Aufguss.

On Monday, 1st April at sunrise, there will be a session dedicated to more adrenaline-high sports such as freestyle, and a biathlon experience will begin. At the end of the day the greatest champions will gather for the key event of the whole season "Livigno: sport, forever sport” with the participation of Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vitozzi, together with all 20 athletes of Team Livigno and the 30 former athletes who participated in the Olympics and World Cup. The champions will reveal all areas of their Olympic experience and as professionals. Then, on occasion of the ceremony of the Olympic Candidature Flags and European Municipality of Sport, the evening will conclude with an impressive torchlit procession.

The breathtaking experiences will continue the following day with Sunrise Emotion: skiing at dawn on perfectly groomed slopes, which will still be covered in fresh snow thanks to the heavy snowfalls of 15th and 18th March. Visitors can ski with the athletes of Team Livigno immersed in a beautiful alpine landscape arriving at the exclusive Olympic Week Party in the evening. The Party will have a vintage theme and reserved access to the VIP area is for bracelet holders only.

Wednesday is dedicated to an exciting challenge in the parallel slalom with the leading figures being athletes and former Italian athletes as well as those belonging to Team Livigno. Guests will be amazed by the spectacular show of the instructors of the central ski school.

On Thursday, visitors will be able to ski on the slopes with Olympic snowboard cross champion Michela Moioli and multi-medal holder Maurizio Bormolini, who will involve visitors in an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, visitors can go cross-country skiing with famous athletes Federico Pellegrino and Greta Laurant.

To finish on a high note, on Friday it will be possible to ski in the company of Alpine Ski Champion Giorgio Rocca to then conclude Olympic Week at the Aquagranda Active You!
