SKIFLOWCROSS SLOPE AT CAROSELLO 3000

After The Beach (life-freestyle) and The Forest (ski run through the woods), Carosello 3000 completes the trilogy of their entertainment areas presenting The Cave, the SkiFlowCross for skiers eager to try some alternative ski runs different from the usual ones. All inspired by the summer bike project.

It was defined SkiFlowCross and it is a new ski run just opened at Carosello 3000 Livigno. Born to replace the old boardercross, it combines  the features and obstacles of the SkiCross redesigned according to  the MTB inspired concept of flow, fluidity and risk mitigation.

The ski run The Cave was in fact planned following the same design philosophy of the mountain-bike trails that have been built in recent years at Carosello 3000. So it is a very flow ski run enriched with bents, bumps and berms, all built using seasonal resource: snow.

The SkiFlowCross line is designed so as to ensure both jumps and relaxation, and the obstacles are made of foam  rubber  so they never put at risk the safety of skiers. These features make the run  accessible to skiers of any skill level, while the width of the run allows an easy overtake of other skiers.

We want our customers spend their holiday with maximum freedom. - says Camillo Bertolini, Responsible of Marketing at Carosello 3000 Livigno – This freedom results both in a variety of choices, quality and in a positive emotional state perceived in living experiences offered by the Livigno mountains.  But also in not being subjected to unnecessary risks during their stay. With The Cave we have transferred to snow the know-how that we have gained during three years of mountain-bike project.

Going against the current trend of building hardcore bike trails that have been flourishing everywhere, Carosello  3000 has recently adopted a mountain-bike project open to various riding levels. The choice has allowed the Mountain Park to become in a very short time a unique reality already known at European level, and it has allowed Livigno to become a Bike Destination with a full spectrum MTB offer.

Although a large part of the trail network should still be realized, the first trails which have been built  will be included in the Epic Tour long 45 kilometers. The tour can be completed in a single day of riding and its name is TuttiFrutti. The name has been chosen because it offers many different trails: pure flow country, scenic trails, old shepherds' paths ... The TuttiFrutti Epic MTB Tour was inaugurated last summer by two very special spokesman: Hans Rey, pioneer of mountain biking  who has been working with Livigno for some  years, and multiple world champion Brian Lopes.  They were followed  by video cameras of the VTOPO, French agency specialized in promoting summer sports destinations. The video of the tour will be released in the spring.
