LIVIGNO: THE MYSTERY OF A NEW SURFING AREA

Carosello 3000 Livigno, Nike Vision, Dragon Alliance and Level Gloves are presenting  to you The Beach, a new  board zone at 3000 m above sea level.

High altitude surfers , this story is for you! After the passing of the latest storm,  a bay with warm and restless waters and white sand, surrounded by tropical vegetation,  has mysteriously appeared  on the highest peaks of Livigno. Thanks to its beach-break  and  its offshore winds, it seems to have perfect conditions to become a cult destination for new generations riders.

Carosello 3000 has already started the construction of the Surfer's Beach House on the sandy beach that surround the bay.  It’s a  place where you can have fun, relax in the sun, join  numerous beach parties and,  of course,  meet new people from all over Europe and ride together with them. Considering the particularity of this slice of tropical paradise situated at 3000 meters above sea level,  some important companies such as Nike Vision, Dragon Alliance and Level Gloves have already expressed their full support to the new area and hoisted their flags on the sandy-shore.

Unfortunately , like all famous surf destinations , there could be plenty of dangers here. A rider, who  violated the temporary ban on bathing, has reported to the local press  about his not-so-pleasant  close encounter with an enormous white shark, showing his  board with bite marks  as an evidence. Even if  there are some doubts about his  story  and its veracity will be checked  by the police investigators, the managers of the mountain park Carosello 3000 recommend  caution and suggest  to follow the indications of the personnel,  do not enter the area after sunset, and especially  surf in large groups.

Official opening of The Beach is scheduled for  Saturday, January 30 (see event on Facebook), when the organizers have planned to hold  a competition open to all, followed  by a big party with music and BBQ. The sea is already getting  rough and big waves are visible on the horizon.
