LIVIGNO. A PLACE WITH A LONG HISTORY

A new book, that tells the story of the Little Tibet Valtellina, has been  released with a wide selection of

photographic images. It is available in the bookstores, online or directly on site.

From Tuesday, December 22 is available in bookstores the new guide entitled "Livigno.  A place with a long history ",published by Edizioni di Sondrio with texts by  Emanuele Mambretti and Thomas Ruberto.

A slim 96-page guide book about Livigno with beautiful photographs. It is part of the “tourist guides” Lyasis.

The first part of the guide, edited by Emanuele Mambretti, tells the history of the country since the first settlements analyzing some historical  facts and traditions. The second part, written by Thomas Ruberto, is about the contemporary Livigno in terms of tourism and culture, with descriptions of how to live today in Livigno and a ranking of the things to do both in winter and in summer.

Supported by the Tourist Board of Livigno it is an official guide of the locality. The book is on sale at a price of 10.00 euro and is the ideal gift for Christmas.

In Livigno you can buy the book in bookstores, newsstands and in the Tourist Board Offices, but it is also sold in all Italian bookstores, online and on the publisher's site, www.lyasis.com.

The English version will be released in January 2016.
