LIVIGNO TOP3 AT THE EUROPEAN BEST SKI DESTINATION
Best Italian Ski Resort and third place in Europe. Livigno is among the top international resorts for snow holidays.
Travelers from around the world chose: Livigno has won the third place among the best European ski resorts. In the competition there were Alpi d'Huez, Avoriaz, Saalbach Hinterglemm, Val Thorens, Ischgl-Engadin, Chamonix Mont Blanc, La Plagne, Kitzbühel, Valloire, Montgenevre, Sölden, Äre, St Sorlin d'Arves, Contamines Montjoie , Gstaad, Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser, Le Grand Bornand, Val Gardena and Crans Montana.

European Best Ski Resorts is an event organized by European Best Destinations, based in Brussels, created in 2009 to promote, in collaboration with over 300 European Tourist Offices, the best of Europe to millions of travelers, the media and professionals in the tourism industry . Since 2012, EBD also works in partnership with the European Commission for the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism in Europe.

The winter season of Livigno officially begins on Friday 1st December, with the opening of the ski lifts, but due to the recent snowfall, several lifts and slopes opened since the 18th November; while the cross country track is already open since mid-October and next weekend will host the Sgambeda, the international nodric ski race of the Visma Ski Classics circuit.
