THE LIVIGNO TEAM HAS A NEW STAR: MICHELA MOIOLI IS NOW AN AMBASSADOR FOR THE ALPINE RESORT

Olympic Snowboard Cross Champion Michela Moioli will carry Livigno with her as of the upcoming World Championships in the USA, during which she will be a leading figure.

Twenty-three year old Michela from Bergamo, Olympic Champion and holder of the  Snowboard Cross World Cup, is a new Ambassador for Livigno.

After spending New Year’s Eve on the slopes of Little Tibet training with local champ Maurizio Bormolini and enjoying evenings in the company of Federica Pellegrini and Andrea Dovizioso, Michela chose the resort of Livigno both for training and for leisure and relaxation.

I had a few days’ holiday in Livigno for New Year’s Eve and was stunned,” Michela said, “as this is the ideal resort for training both out on the snow and indoors in Aquagranda sports centre. I’ve got all the services I need here in order to prepare well for the most important competitions. Livigno is really very active, besides the snow there is so much else to do here and I felt at ease immediately. I now understand why so many athletes from a range of different disciplines want to come here to train.”

On occasion of the upcoming World Championships in the USA, Michela will have the Livigno logo on her board and try for herself the saying that Livigno brings luck to its athletes.

I’m happy Michela has agreed to join our team of athletes,” declared Luca Moretti CEO of Livigno tourist board, ”as she embodies the values of Livigno to perfection. Should the Olympic candidature be successful, I think she’s the ideal endorsement to carry the name Livigno to Olympic snowboard cross competitions around the world. We’ve already talked to her about a number of different projects and I’m certain we’ll do some great things together.”

The official presentation of this new partnership will take place when Michela returns from the World Championships .
