The castle stands out its 10 meters high towers for the 9 riders of the two wheels: who is going to win the Big Air Competition? From 31 August to 5 September at the bike park Mottolino in Livigno is held the biggest event of dirt bike in Europe
Suzuki Nine Knights raises again its flags on the Mottolino peaks during 6 days of pure spectacle, jumps and tricks for the selected 9 riders. The Castle is ready and its epic structure will be a source of inspiration for the riding champions who will give their best to impress the audience with their tricks. The feature, which is situated at the Eira Pass in Livigno, is a true reproduction of a medieval fortress.
The riders are already riding crazily on the 19 structures including wall ride, hip jump, step-up, reserve transition and also a mini ramp skate built to provide an elevation in jumping up to 6 meters high and 15 meters long. Even the castle’s aesthetics is a sine qua non that guided the heroic team of Andi Wittmann (who participates only as an organizer because of an injury) in the tracking of a memorable slopestyle.
Italians are drawing the attention on themselves with breathtaking tricks and even scoring a record. The local Tobia Silvestri is the first one who rides both the Castles: as a freeskier in winter and as a biker in this MTB summer edition. Meanwhile the Italian trickster Torquato "Toto" Testa stands out with tricks set aside for this special occasion, we hope to see him among the finalists to win the Big Air Competition + Highest Air, Best Style, Best Trick. Both athletes are resident at the Bike Park Mottolino where they spend the whole summer training for high level competitions.
The Big Air Contest Day is held on Saturday, September 5 starting from 13.30, while the spectacular shooting at sunset is on Thursday, September 3 at 18.00. The two events will be open to the public and free of charge. Here a preview of the show: bit.ly/SuzukiNineKnightsMTB_trailer
