Livigno is a place of snow, nature and relax, but above all of great sport events. Saturday 4 December is the turn of the mythical Sgambeda, 31st edition. The first appointment of the season of the granfondo sector, event that tells a bit the history of the Italian cross-country skiing thanks to excellent participations and successes and that also this year can boast the participation of the local champion Marianna Longa.
The Sgambeda 2021 will be anticipated by a trial of Italia Gamma Cup, third stage of the season, just right to light up the atmosphere of the granfondo.
Livigno, after having welcomed some of the most famous international Nordic ski champions, who have taken advantage of the early opening of the cross-country ring to prepare the World Cup in the mountains, and after having hosted a test of the Italian national team to determine the qualified for the Ruka Cup race (FIN), "opens" with two competitions in free technique on the Molin slope. The first to start the engines will be the women (9.00) with the 10 km, followed by the men's 15 km, always on the 3.3 km ring.
The organization of Livigno, with the patronage of the Organizing Committee La Sgambeda, creating in fact a two-day cross-country race that opens to professionals and amateurs.

Great success for the summer edition of the famous contest that brings visitors to discover the most hidden corners of the Little Tibet.
