STRALIVIGNO IS READY TO WELCOME THE RUNNERS . REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN AS WELL AS THE “LITTLE TIBET”

The Stralivigno is ready to start again with the new edition on Saturday 24 July 2021. Start and finish will be at the athletic track of Aquagranda, a symbolic place for the sportsmen. Anti-Covid protocols will limit the number of bibs available, but also refreshments and start/finish areas. Registration opens today for those who want to return to run in the beautiful location of 'Little Tibet'.

After a difficult year like 2020, in which the Stralivigno was forced to the cancellation from the calendar, the race is now ready to start again announcing the new edition scheduled for Saturday 24 July 2021. It will be an unmissable edition that will bring the runners to confront themselves again, after a forced sabbatical year, among the woods of 'Little Tibet' immersed in the beautiful nature of Livigno.

Once again the Marathon Club Livigno together with the Tourism Board will take the lead and will be able to maneuver wisely all the organizational threads to make the historic race unique, thanks to the great experience gained over the years. The start and finish will be at the athletics track of Aquagranda, the headquarters of the Stralivigno, a symbolic place of Livigno, which for some years now has been hosting athletes from all over the world for their specific preparations.

The 21 km route will be unique, winding its way along paths, white roads and some asphalted sections of the Livigno valley. This will take the participants to an altitude of 2,000 metres. The programme, although with the pandemic situation is still in the process of being set up, it will necessarily undergo some restrictions compared to the past. The provisions and protocols to be implemented in the field of coronavirus will be evaluated in the run-up to the event, but it is already clear and obvious that some adjustments will have to be made. Starting with the refreshments, passing through the start and finish areas, and the inevitable limitation on the number of 400 bibs available, all to ensure the health of the athletes and prevent the spread of infection. It will certainly be a new condition for everyone but, looking at the positive side of things, the race will take place and this is already a beautiful goal not to be underestimated in these times.

Registrations are open from today, until June 15th you can take advantage of the reduced fee of € 30,00, then until 22.07 the fee will be € 35,00 and from 23.07 € 40,00 (only at the race office) there is no time to lose because the bibs will be only 400 and they will fly away in the blink of an eye. The desire to come back to the race is great and Stralivigno knows it, so don’t miss out the opportunity to run in the wonderful location of Livigno. The 'Little Tibet' is waiting for you with open arms to breathe again good mountain air, the air which tastes of sport.
