IN LIVIGNO A UNIQUE GOLF TRAINING AREA IN THE ALPS

Green in Livigno means not only the green fields, the emerald waters of the lake, but since last year green is also the color of the passion for golf. The Golf Training Area aims to become an important training place at 1,816 meters above sea level. On the area, which is located between the green fields and the larch forest, you can practice golf over an area of 10,000 square meters. The Golf Training Area consists in a pitch and putt area, a driving range of 250 meters and 3 green, each reached by three different tees. Who wants to practice golf in Livigno can enjoy the special offers that include accommodation in an Active Hotel and golf clinic with intensive lessons to improve the short game. Furthermore every week ( on Tuesday and Thursday) you can take golf lessons or book your golf course (8 or 16 hours).

The golf courses will start on  June 23: the 8 hours course runs till July 16, while  the 16 hours course till August 13. The Golf Teacher is Marco Guerisoli of the Guerisoli GolfSchool and is available in July on Tuesdays and Thursdays,  in August on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and in September just on request.

Among the many summer activities of Livigno, this year is going to take place the first event dedicated to golf called ‘In City Golf Livigno’ scheduled on July 11 and followed by ‘Livigno Golf Open’. Thanks to In City Golf Livigno the focus will be the golf: 6 holes along the town streets. Starting from the Livigno lake with a hole in a boat and then at Aquagranda Livigno Sport Fitness Centre where the hole will be in the middle of the swimming pool.  After that we are going to move to the Diary where the hole will have a particular view on the milk-processing. The following holes will be downtown between Via Plan and Plaza dal Comun, and will be available for all who want to try golf can. Furthermore even the Golf Training Area will be free for the whole day  with equipment available for rent. Livigno, thanks to this event, becomes one of the biggest towns that will host a In City Golf such as Cortina d'Ampezzo, Florence, Verona and Berlin. This Golf event will be occasion to present Livigno in all its aspects such as the culinary one tanks to the collaboration of the Chefs And Pastry chefs Association of Livigno.

Also the ski champion Roberto Nani will enjoy the event!
