LIVIGNO CANDIDATES FOR BEST EUROPEAN SKI RESORT

Online voting is now open, and will remain so until 27th November. Twenty European ski resorts, including Livigno, are taking part. Meanwhile, it will be possible to ski on some of the pistes as of tomorrow, with free skipasses for the weekend.

From 17th to 27th November 2017 travellers from all over the world will be able to vote for their favourite European ski resorts, and Livigno has been nominated for the final title. Contending resorts include Alpe d'Huez, Avoriaz, Saalbach Hinterglemm, Val Thorens, Ischgl-Engadin, Chamonix Mont Blanc, La Plagne, Kitzbühel, Valloire, Montgenevre, Sölden, Äre, St Sorlin d'Arves, Contamines Montjoie, Gstaad, Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser, Le Grand Bornand, Val Gardena and Crans Montana.

Online voting will be open as of midnight on 17th November and run through to midday on 27th November 2017, with the results being announced at around 5pm. Those wishing to vote simply access https://www.europeanbestdestinations.com/ski/ and choose Livigno.

The European Best Ski Resorts event is organised by European Best Destinations, located in Brussels and was created in 2009, in association with over 300 European tourist offices, to promote the best of Europe to millions of travellers, the media and professionals in the sector of tourism. As of 2012, the EBD has also be working in association with the European Commission for promoting sustainable tourism in Europe.

Meanwhile, in Livigno the desire for snow is growing and as of tomorrow the Bellavista, Cunabella, Buglin and Le Zete pistes will be opened, served by the Livigno Centro-Tagliede-Costaccia cable car and Valandrea Vetta chair lift. Access to the facilities will be completely free for the weekend.
