LIVIGNO, THE NEW SLIDE&FUN AREA OF AQUAGRANDA ACTIVE YOU

Wednesday, December 23 takes place the inauguration of slides and water games for a special Christmas holiday. For those who want to rest up at high altitude, there’s the Wellness&Relax area.

Snow keeps us hanging on, so as Christmas present Livigno brings us the opening of the new Slide&Fun area of ​​Aquagranda Active You, the highest sport center in Europe. Water games, slides and much more inside a big swimming pool, the perfect way to have fun both for children and adults. Slide&Fun will be officially opened on Wednesday, December 23 at 15:00.

For those seeking relaxation, there is the Wellness&Relax area with saunas, steam baths, from where you can directly reach the Health&Beauty Area with many services available such as osteopath, physiotherapist, hairdresser, beauty center.

Sportsmen meet their match in the Sport&Fitness Area of Aquagranda Active You, with a sports pool of 25 meters, the baby pool for children, the gym with Technogym equipment, several training rooms (for Pilates, postural, kick boxing, fit boxing, personal trainers, yoga & fun, Muhai tay, jujitsu, functional training, kundalini yoga, total body, muscle toning, spinning, gag, flax & tone).

Several world champions and Olympic medalists trained inside Aquagranda. Federica Pellegrini, Gregorio Paltrinieri, Gabriele Detti, Filippo Magnini together with the Italy national swimming team trained here 3 weeks long before the last European Championship in Israel, where they won  medals and broke records and the athletes and technicians expressed themselves high satisfied with the altitude training in Livigno. In the same period in Aquagranda Active You were training also the Italian canoe and kayak team and the National rowing team with Nicolò Mornati. In September there was the training camp of Mettaleghe Sanitars Montichiari, women's volleyball A1 team. Athletes choose Livigno to train for its altitude (1816 m) and often sleep in Trepalle (2200 meters) to make even more effective the stage at altitude. Last summer the Team Tinkoff Saxo, with the pink jersey Alberto Contador, trained right in Livigno and in Aquagranda in preparation for the Tour de France and the Vuelta.
