Skiing in Livigno becomes a “mobile game”

Carosello 3000 Livigno in partnership with Nike Vision, Apo, Dragon and Level Gloves presents my3000, an innovative mobile application that will enable skiers to transform skiing into an adventure with prizes.

It’s called My3000 and it’s an Android and iOS mobile application which will turn skiing at Carosello 3000 in an unique treasure hunt.

Using My3000 a tourist will have one week time to make a series of missions through this  app, for example to ski a certain vertical drop, scan a QR code or eat a certain type of burger. The accomplishment of these actions will allow skiers and snowboarders to win immediately gadgets of the ski area, but they have also possibility to win more valuable prizes  during  the final draw.

 

Actually,  at the end of the season the winner of an one-week-accommodation   in Livigno for 2 people will be drawn at random  as well as the winners of  products such as skis and snow boards Apo,  gloves  Level , and of numerous bike passes for the new flow country trails at  Carosello 3000 area (all the info at: http://carosello3000.com/it/my3000/whats-that).

Each Tuesday ,  during the daily contests – Vertical Challnge - , the  players will be awarded  with popular goggles offered as prizes by  Nike and Dragon Alliance.

 

The challenge, however, is not directed only to the tourists who stay in Livigno for a week.  The ski fans who come to Livigno several times during  the winter season can compete in the contest based on vertical meters , win the medal  “Super Hero” and a seasonal ski pass for the winter 2015/2016 as the first prize.

 

The users can also access  “my3000”, a private area within the site www.carosello3000.com,  where they can modify their profile and check their performance on the slopes.

My 3000 is not t only a game, but also an app with numerous  real-time information on weather, snow information  and important safety functions that will allow tourists to call the ski patrol pressing a button, or to send a text message with their position on google maps.

 

Camillo Bertolini, marketing manager of the ski area, says: "A skier, but also who plays other sports, wants to enrich his  real experience with the new tools provided by technology.  My3000 is an application that combines  sport with new technology and game adventures.  This small leap into the future brings Carosello 3000 among companies looking for innovative solutions that make mountain and sport increasingly attractive in the eyes of the younger generations. The next step? We have  already been working on a project involving the development of an "augmented reality" experience  on the ski slopes. We will see what it will turn out to be. "

 

The application, available for download on Google Play and Apple Store, will be officially presented on Sunday the 25th and Monday the 26th of January on the ski slopes of Carosello  3000 by the staff  members who will show to the tourists how it works.
