The best Italian women skiers choose Livigno to prepare the final of the season

The athletes of the Italian women's team are filing the last details before the final appointments of 2022, also Ester Ledecka is present.

It's written Livigno, but pronounced sport.

The sport soul of the resort emerges with all its strength, also in final season. In addition to the long-standing relationship with the freestyle disciplines, which offer entertainment to thousands of tourists and on these slopes will assign their Olympic medals of Milano-Cortina 2026, Livigno confirms itself as a winter sports paradise at 360 degrees, with the alpine ski champions who consider its slopes as the ideal place for their training.

The Italian team, in fact, has chosen Livigno's snows and facilities to prepare the final appointments of a season to remember, crowned by the podiums in Beijing 2022.
Sofia Goggia, Marta Bassino, Nicol and Nadia Delago, Francesca Marsaglia, Roberta Melesi and Karoline Pichler are using the ski-area of the Sitas company and the advanced facilities of Aquagranda, to smooth out the last technical and athletic details before the decisive races of the winter.

Special attention for Sofia Goggia, still not fully recovered after the injury in January and fresh winner of the silver medal in the downhill in Beijing, who is coming back to Livigno to prepare the assault on the World Cup, a possible triumph for which the whole resort would rally around the Italian skier.

In addition to the Italian athletes, there is also the Czech Ester Ledecka, three times Olympic champion in SuperG and snowboarding, and just back from a weekend of glory in Crans-Montana, where she finished with a first and a second place in the two-day race. Hers is a welcome return on Livigno's snows. On the snows of Livigno she will be protagonist also in 2026, when she will defend her double Olympic title of parallel snowboard on the magic stage of Livigno.
