The number of open slopes increase this weekend, in which there will be also the 26th edition of La Sgambeda, the international cross-country race.
Since last weekend, Livigno inaugurated the ski season with the opening of some lifts and, after a week, the number is growing thanks to hard work to produce the artificial snow, that covers the 80% of slopes with 110 snow guns. You can ski on the slopes of Carosello 3000, of Mottolino Fun Mountain and in the town's lifts for a total of 30 km slopes open on 115.
The following lifts will be open:
Cassana n.30, Mini Lift n.24, San Rocco n.17, Ski School Area n.20, Campo Scuola n.23, Del Sole n.21, Doss n. 18, Valandrea n.29, Federia n.14, Baby Lac Salin n.13, Carosello I e II (solo per arroccamento, pista non disponibile), Livigno Centro-Tagliede n.25, Mottolino n.3, Trepalle n.8, Amerikan n.10, Pian della Volpe n.22. The price of the daily ski pass is € 24.00 and till the 19th December is valid the promotion "Skipass Free", that satisfy the needs of those who do not want to miss the opportunity to ski and have a winter holiday at a low price. In this period, indeed you will get your skipass for free if you are staying in a partner hotel for 4 nights or in a partner apartment for 7 nights (for more info: https://www.livigno.eu/en/skipass-free ).
For cross-country skiing, are ready 6 km on 30, located in the central tableland and covered with artificial snow. On this track, on Saturday 05th and Sunday 06th December, will be inaugurated the season of ski racing with two days dedicated to La Sgambeda, an international cross-country race, part of the prestigious circuit Vima Ski Classics. The access to the track is free.

All set for the 26th edition of the Nordic skiing marathon of the circuit Visma Ski Classics. New course completely on artificial snow. At the start line 900 cross country skiers, including Giorgio Di Centa.
For the occasion, Livigno reveals the names of his testimonials 2015/16 and hits the first victory in the Biathlon World Cup with the new entry Dorothea Wierer.
