Here we go. Livigno is ready to raise the curtain on the snow and on the ski ring that will officially open on 19th October.
Works to use the snow accumulated with snow farming began on 7th October, and everything is almost ready to give fans a perfect start to the season. The Italian and German national cross-country ski teams are ready to take advantage of an optimal track for altitude training.
The ring will be gradually extended thanks to the artificial snow. Starting immediately strong on the snow is a unique opportunity: it allows to avoid going up to the glacier and enjoy the first skiing, taking advantage of altitude training among the spectacular landscapes of the 'Little Tibet’.
The ring will be open
every day from 7.30 to 17.30, with a time frame (7.30-12.30) reserved only for the preparation of the racing teams at the price of 75 euros per hour. Teams can obtain the exclusive use of the track, with as many athletes as they desire. It is possible to book the track by writing to

From 12.30 to 17.30, access to the ring will be free of charge. The
availability of the track will be displayed on a screen located at the entrance of the track at Snowfarm in Via Vinecc and will be bookable until the full opening of the track.
Amateurs will be able to devote themselves to “La Sgambeda” on 30th November: a 30 km free technique that will interval the Rendez-Vous of Visma Ski classics on Friday and Sunday. The cross-country event is dedicated to amateurs and will celebrate a prestigious 30-year-anniversary, rewarding those who enrol by November 27 with a personalized sweatshirt and a medal carved by local artisans. Also worth mentioning is the Minisgambeda for children, to expand a sumptuous menu aimed at involving all ages, from adults to children, from masters to amateurish.
Livigno’s events are for everyone and make the winter arrive well in advance. There are also attractive tourist packages at competitive rates, available from 23rd November to 1st December. Yesterday, Thursday 3 October, Livigno inhabitants and visitors were able to experience the unique experience of Li Tea Gourmand, the event organized by the Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs of Livigno to surprise the palates of the guests with 5 different menus prepared in 5 different 'tee', the typical huts, for enhance the flavors and aromas of the area and welcome autumn.
