NEW LIFT VALLACCIA IN LIVIGNO BECOMES REALIY

Mottolino Fun Mountain extends the ski area with the construction of the new lift “Vallaccia”: a last generation 6 places chairlift will serve the homonym area, extending by 30% its slopes area and increasing the attractiveness of the prestigious Italian destination.

The chairlift will place its bottom station at 2079m asl to reach 2717m asl, for a total length of 1848 m and a vertical rise of 638m. With a capacity of 2800 people per hour, it will be the longest chairlift within the Little Tibet, and the highest within the Mottolino ski area. Men are already at work and the lift should be ready during the upcoming winter season.

Marco Rocca, Mottolino CEO, declares:

“The new chairlift Vallaccia is a crucial goal for Mottolino and we want to specify to our guests, all of them passionate about the mountain and its biodiversity, that the chairlift will limit its environmental impact to the presence of the load bearing structure and the two stations, and it will be accessible exclusively from the slopes. To facilitate the flow of tourist we are enlarging Trepalle parking area, to create proper conditions for an easy access to the ski area without engraving the new “Vallaccia” area”.
