Winter is taking its time leaving Livigno, and Italian champions Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone have taken advantage of this in order to pack in a few more days of training. They’ll meet another absolute champion whose “home” is in Livigno, too, Federica Pellegrini, this time at the Aquagranda Active You sports centre.
From snow to water and on to the gentle green meadows that will characterise Stralivigno on 20th July, with a great race pack that includes personalised sweatshirts for the first 1000 athletes to sign up for the half marathon trail thanks to our partnership with sponsor Scarpa. “Race packs will also include some of the typical products made by the other partners who have always supported Stralivigno, such as the dairy of Livigno”, affirmed the organising committee, and participation fees include a voucher for a lavish meal, too. Athletes can take part simply by paying the 30 Euro fee, and anyone choosing to share the effort by competing in the relay (10.5 km each) will pay a special fee of 40 Euro per team.
Another new feature is that the 21 km route will start from and arrive at the new athletics track to open in Livigno at the beginning of July, with a route running through the town centre to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Livigno race, before diving into the mountain trails that characterise Stralivigno.
Livigno Skymarathon and the K17 will take place before Stralivigno on 15th June, as will the Transalp Tour which will run through the area on 27th and 28th June. The Palio delle Contrade - 1KShot will be held on the 23rd August and the National Park Bike Marathon on 31st of the same month. The Icon triathlon, from 30th August to 1st September, will end the season.

Little Tibet still offers the perfect conditions for enjoying a few days of training and fun on skis on the eve of Easter and the long spring break.
