Livigno has been chosen for the first time as the location for La Milanesiana, the largest travelling festival, conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, which has been touring Italy every summer since 2000 with a rich programme of meetings and events dedicated to culture in all its forms. The festival will arrive in Little Tibet from 25 to 27 July and will be the stage on which the protagonists of the 23rd edition, dedicated to the theme "Omissions", will move: artists and professionals from all over the world will confront each other and the public dealing with cinema, economics, philosophy, literature, music, science and much more.

The event, considered to be one of the most interesting and of the greatest artistic and cultural depth on a national and international level, consolidates Livigno's position as an increasingly attractive location suitable for hosting events aimed at a heterogeneous audience from all over Italy and other countries. "We are proud of the path taken by our destination, which is establishing itself as the stage of choice for major events of international profile in the sporting, gastronomic but also artistic and cultural spheres," comments Luca Moretti, President and CEO of APT Livigno. "The unique location just a few hours drive from Milan and on the border with Switzerland, the vocation for hospitality and the quality of the accommodation facilities combined with a rich offer of activities and entertainment - from open-air shopping to sports at high altitude - have meant that over the years Livigno has increasingly carved out a leading role among the most interesting resorts in the Alps," he continues. "The arrival in Livigno of such an important event is undoubtedly a feather in the cap also for our tourist offer", echoes Sharon Zini, Councillor for Tourism of the Municipality of Livigno. "In every season we welcome thousands of visitors who appreciate the possibility to enrich their holiday by attending concerts, wine and food events, cultural and traditional events and great professional and amateur sports competitions: a multifaceted offer that reflects the liveliness of our locality, perfect for a traveller who is looking for direct contact with nature but also values the possibility to cultivate his interests while travelling."
