Munt La Schera Tunnel is the access point for Livigno for those visitors arriving from
Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, the Engadin, Switzerland and all of Northern Europe. The tunnel is 3.5km long, transit is
one-way and alternating, and payment of a toll is required.
Online ticket sales are limited to the following categories: cars with up to 9 seats, motorbikes and mobile
homes/caravans for either a one way or return journey. Tickets for all the other categories of vehicle can only be
purchased at the Punt dal Gall cash desk and not online,. Tickets purchased online can be shown on paper or in digital
format from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet). When purchasing tickets it is only necessary to enter the arrival date
.
In the case of a return ticket, you will receive two QR codes one of which is valid for the outward journey, the other
for the return journey. Return journeys can take place on any day.
Always check the opening hours and viability of the Alpine passes and Munt La Schera Tunnel before setting out on your
journey. As of 15th December traffic regulation time slots will be active for transit on Saturdays and remain in force
until 20th April 2019.

The Munt La Schera tunnel only has one lane. The flow of traffic is controlled by traffic lights.
